Quinta de Chocapalha Red 2019 has an intense and captivating ruby color. On the nose, it stands out for its delicate floral aromas, combined with wild red fruits and a touch of spices. In the mouth, it reveals layers of ripe fruits, notes of forest and spices, supported by an elegant texture. The finish is fresh, long and marked by its elegance.
The grapes were de-stemmed and subjected to pre-fermentative maceration at low temperatures to extract the maximum aromas and flavors. Alcoholic fermentation took place in plants with temperature control, not exceeding 25ºC, over 9 days, using robots for treading. The wine aged for 18 months in neutral French oak barrels, ensuring a perfect balance between fruit and wood.
Ideal to accompany roast meat dishes, such as lamb or pork loin, and mushroom-based dishes. It pairs equally well with aged cheeses and spiced starters. Serve at 16-18°C for a complete sensory experience.
