VinhAlvarinho.pt is an online store dedicated to Alvarinho Wine from the Monção and Melgaço sub-region (the original Alvarinho). This is where you will find the largest online offer of 100% Alvarinho Wines.
This sub-region, located in the Vinho Verde region, is recognized for its 100% Alvarinho wine, the noblest Portuguese white grape variety that allows the production of a high quality wine and where the Alvarinho variety reaches its maximum exponent.
In our store you will also find wines from other regions.

Portugal Mainland:
Orders with a value of less than €45.00 , postage varies between €5.91 and €6.91.
Orders over €45.00 , shipping costs are free .
Portugal Azores and Madeira (by sea):
- Delivery to customer's final address:
Up to 48 bottles: €34.00
From 49 to 72 bottles: €50.00
From 73 to 96 bottles: €70.00
- If the customer chooses to pick up the order in Ponta Delgada:
€20.00 for any order.
Spain Mainland:

6. When will my order be shipped?
Orders are processed and shipped after payment confirmation. Shipments can be made on the same day or on the following business day after receiving payment in our system.
7. What is the delivery time for an order?
Mainland Portugal: They are normally delivered within 24 hours.
Portugal Islands: May vary between 1 to 3 weeks.
Mainland Spain: Deliveries within 72 hours, through the carrier Enviália.
Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Monaco: Deliveries within 5 working days through the carrier UPS.
Weekends, national holidays and local holidays are not considered for the delivery time.
8. What do I do if my order arrives damaged?
You should always examine your order upon receipt. If you find that your order is damaged, you must immediately return it to the transport company that is making the delivery. Then should notify VinhAlvarinho.pt through the following email: geral@vinhalvarinho.pt, indicating your order number.
Customer may chose from:
a. VinhAlvarinho.pt will send a new order immediately and at no cost to the customer;
b. Customer may choose not to want the order anymore, being refunded the full amount paid.
8. Do prices include VAT?
Yes, all prices include Portuguese VAT.
6% for Food Products;
13% for Wines;
23% for Sparkling Wines, Beers, Spirits, between other products.
9. How many bottles can I order?
Bottles are limited to the quantity in stock. The online store does not allow you to order more than the stock available on the website.
10. Does the online store not have enough stock for the quantity you want?
If any product does not have enough stock for the quantity you want to order, contact VinhAlvarinho.pt via the following email geral@vinhalvarinho.pt or call +351 927 250 127.
