Casa Cadaval Reserva Red 2020 is a stunning expression from the Tejo region, crafted with a careful selection of Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira, and Merlot grapes. This wine has an intense garnet color and captivates with its aroma of ripe black fruits, complemented by subtle violet and spice notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and elegant, with excellent structure and balance, culminating in a long, persistent finish.
Vinification and Aging:The grapes are hand-harvested and selected in the vineyard. Fermentation takes place in traditional lagares at a controlled temperature of 26-27°C, allowing for greater extraction of aromas and flavors. The wine ages for 12 months in used French oak barrels, achieving a balanced integration of wood that adds complexity without overwhelming the character of the grapes.
