Produced at Quinta do Reguengo exclusively from the Alvarinho variety. Cultivated in the monção and melgaço sub-region, included in the demarcated region of Vinho Verde.
The making of an Alvarinho sparkling wine requires a special treatment, from the outset with a careful choice of grapes. This selection results in a must that ferments at a controlled temperature and forms the base wine for the sparkling wine. In the bottle, this wine undergoes a second fermentation. After several months of aging, at low and constant temperatures in the cellar, the last stage, the “degorgement”, is carried out. This process allows the elimination of existing yeasts in the bottle and the replacement of the temporary capsule with the definitive stopper.
Open straw color with citrus nuances. Biscuit aroma with floral nuances. Explosion of flavors, where the biscuit predominates. Some evolution. Thin, crispy bubble
Recommended temperature of 6º to 8º C. Excellent aperitif. Pairs well with fish, seafood and roasts.
