If the Regueiro Primitivo made from the oldest grapes on the property is fine and full of nerve, the "Barricas" is even more precise and delicate. There are only 3600 bottles of a white that matures in barrels, as the name suggests. The wood always appears superiorly integrated, giving it only the extra complexity and roundness, which elevate it to another level of "finesse". A clear example of how to use wood in order to enhance the Alvarinho grape, without marking too much. A great wine together with Primitivo showing 2 ways of presenting the Alvarinho variety, producing 2 superior whites.
Fermented at controlled temperature, respecting traditional methods. Fermentation in 300 liter French oak barrels, aged for 8 months with Batonage.
Very full-bodied wine, with volume in the mouth and a lot of freshness.
