After the Reserva, the Primitivo, the Barricas and the Jurassic, comes the Maturado. An Alvarinho aged for 18 months in French Oak Barrels. The Essence of a Territory.
There are only 3900 bottles of a white that matures in barrels. The wood always appears superiorly integrated, giving it only the extra complexity and roundness, which elevate it to another level of "finesse". A clear example of how to use wood in order to enhance the Alvarinho grape, without marking too much. Old vines average age 30 years.
Fermentation at controlled temperature, while respecting traditional methods.
Fermentation in new French oak barrels of 300 liters and 700 liters, aged for 18 months, with Batonage;
Very full-bodied wine, with volume in the mouth and a lot of freshness.
