This wine was the first to combine these two grape varieties (Alvarinho and Loureiro) in the Minho region in 1996.
The Alvarinho variety is produced at Casa do Capitão-mor (Quinta da Bavista), in Mazedo, Monção. Its soil is of granite, lime-alkaline origin, covered with rolled pebble.
The Loureiro variety is produced in Barcelos, in the Cávado sub-region. The soils are of medium-grain non-porphyroid granitic origin, and rich in quartz.
The production of the grapes respects the environment and is certified as “Integrated Production”.
