Horácio Simões Tradição Red 2022 is a true expression of the winemaking tradition of the Setúbal Peninsula, produced from the Castelão grape variety. This limited edition red wine offers an authentic experience, reflecting the region's unique terroir with an elegant and sophisticated profile.

Tasting notes:

• Color: Bright violet red.
• Aroma: Intense and fruity, with notes of ripe red fruits and a subtle touch of spices.
• Taste: Round and soft, with great concentration and excellent balance.
• Aftertaste: Medium, soft and persistent.

Harmonization:

Perfect to accompany Mediterranean-inspired dishes, such as aged cheeses, grilled meats and rustic pastas. Serve between 16°C and 18°C to enjoy its full aromatic and flavor potential.

Winemaking:

• Fermentation: Carried out in stone mills, with stems and skins, without temperature control, allowing traditional winemaking.
• Pressing: The masses are pressed, and the press wine is carefully separated.
• Malolactic Fermentation: Completed after alcoholic fermentation in cement tanks, giving softness and balance to the wine.
• Aging: Part of the wine ages in French oak wood, intensifying the complexity and volume in the mouth.
