Invincible No.2 2020 Douro Tinto 75cl

Companhia de Vinhos Invencível is the producer of Invincible N.º 2, a red wine with Denomination of Origin Douro, whose blend is a selection of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, and Rufete varieties from the 2018 harvest. These varieties enhance the quality of the terroir found in the Douro region.

In 2020, renowned winemakers Rita Marques and Marc Kent founded Companhia de Vinhos Invencível in the heart of the Douro Valley, Portugal. Their collaboration, which began in South Africa between 2015 and 2017 and extended to Portugal in 2018 and 2019, culminated in the creation of their first joint property, located in Casais do Douro. This estate serves as the birthplace of the Invincible Nº 2 wines, a tribute to the rich history and resilient spirit of the Portuguese people.

The Invincible Nº Dois series, which includes both a white and a red wine, captures the essence of the Douro terroir and the artistry of its creators. The label artwork, inspired by the epic struggle between Adamastor and the Portuguese sailors during the Age of Discoveries, symbolizes the challenges and triumphs in winemaking, as well as the indomitable spirit that drives this collaboration.
