Quinta do Mascanho - Alvarinho Wine Producer

Quinta do Mascanho is a brand launched by José Rodrigues, an orthopedist and wine producer for over 25 years. Despite being a small producer, the quality of its wine and sparkling wine has always been of superior quality.

The place

The vineyards are located on the slopes of the left bank of the River Minho at an altitude of 60/80 meters in granitic terrain with excellent sun exposure, making the ripening of the grapes timely and full.

The vineyards are located in Monção and Melgaço.

The left bank of the River Minho and the right bank of the Rio do Porto near the mouth are the natural surroundings of these vineyards that provide an excellent natural environment for the cultivation of the Alvarinho variety. They are lands with a millenary tradition in the culture of the vine.
