Dona Paterna Alvarinho Trajadura 2023 Vinho Verde Branco 75cl

The Dona Paterna winery, by Carlos Alberto Codesso, is located in Quinta da Carvalheira, in the center of the parish of Paderne, close to the village of Melgaço. The Codesso family has been producing Alvarinho grapes since 1974, having started its own production and bottling in 1990, under the Dona Paterna brand.

Carlos Codesso has 15.5 hectares of Alvarinho vines, on land of granitic origin, with a gentle slope and facing south, in order to obtain better sun exposure and thus benefit its maturation.

In a modern winery, equipped with the most appropriate technology for the production of quality white wines, Alvarinho grapes are treated with the utmost care, in order to extract the maximum gustatory and aromatic potential. The oenological support is in charge of the oenologist Fernando Moura, one of the most experienced and accredited technicians in the region.

This wine is the result of the harmonious combination of the Alvarinho variety with the Trajadura variety. It has a citrine yellow color, an elegant and mineral aroma and a delicate palate.

Nectar ideal as an aperitif or to accompany seafood, fish dishes or poultry dishes.
