Conceito Bastardo 2021 Douro Tinto 75cl
Description
Conceito Bastardo is a unique red wine, born from family-owned vineyards planted about 50 years ago in the Douro region. The Bastardo grape variety, which ripens much earlier than other reds, is vinified in traditional stone lagares with foot treading and indigenous yeasts. This traditional process, combined with aging in stainless steel tanks, results in a light-colored wine that deceives the eye, surprising with a full, spicy aroma and a round, glycerin-rich palate. Since its first harvest in 2007, Conceito Bastardo has become a wine of passion, evolving slowly in the bottle and maintaining its character over the years.
